Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph, Steve and  Matt) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's Jordan Lake tournament. They caught one fish at 8:00AM and another at 2:39PM. It was a wild and windy day! They finished 3rd and maintained their 4th place position in the Angler of the Year points chase.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph, Kristen and  Amber) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's Lake Hickory tournament. The team worked hard to catch one fish. They finished 7th and maintained their 4th place position in the Angler of the Year points chase.

Team HOOK SPOT (Steve and good friends Jeff Womble and Carmie Cox) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's Badin Lake tournament. They pre-fished on Friday and only caught 1 fish. On tourney day, they caught 10 fish with 7 keepers. They won 1st place and big fish.

Steve was presented with a Dedicated Service Award by our friends in the Jordan Lake Striper Club for his service since he and Troy founded the club in August of 2004.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph and Dru) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's first tournament of 2006 at High Rock Lake. They braved the 20 to 30mph winds and were able to catch 1 High Rock Hawg. The fished weighed-in at 13.7 pounds and was good enough for 2nd place and Big Fish.

November 26 , 2005
Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Max) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's final tournament of 2005 at Buggs Island. At 2:30PM, they only had one fish. Our friend Hook came on the radio and said he had marked a school. They rolled the lines up and put the hammer down. They ended up setting down right on top of the school. As Max was letting out one of the rods, a 9 pounder hammered the lure and almost took the rod out of his hand. They landed the fish and 5 minutes later, another rod starting singing, a 7 pounder. Their three fish weighed in at 20 pounds and 4 ounces which got them 2nd place. Team HOT SPOT finished the year in 6th place for Angler of the Year with the Tarheel Striper Club.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph and Matt) fished the Jordan Lake Striper Club's final tournament of 2005. They managed to catch 7 fish, but only 2 would measure. These 2 fish were good enough for 5th Place. Team HOT SPOT finished the year in 4th Place for Angler of the Year in the JLSC.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph and Dru) fished the Tarheel Striper Club-Jordan Lake Striper Club Joint Tournament. The fish were not very cooperative, but they managed (1) fish that went 6.30 lbs. That fish was good enough for 4th Place Overall, 3rd Place in the TSC and 3rd Place in the JLSC and Big Fish. Team HOT SPOT is now in 8th Place for Angler of the Year in the TSC and 3rd Place for Angler of the Year in the JLSC.

Team Sniper SPOT (Steve and Troy Roberson from Striper-Sniper Adventures) fished the Jordan Lake Striper Club's fourth tournament of 2005. They boated over 10 fish and brought three to the scales. They finished in 8th place with 18.17 pounds. Steve is currently in 8th place for Angler of the Year with the JLSC and 8th place for Angler of the Year in the TSC.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve, Ralph and Max) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's Buggs Island tournament. Steve and Ralph pre-fished on Friday and released 6 fish. Tournament day was a little tougher, but they were able to catch 1 fish which got them 6th place.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Ralph) were among 12 teams that came up empty at the Tarheel Striper Club's Badin Lake tournament. They caught 4 fish, but none would measure. 5 teams weighed in fish. Ralph did land this 20 plus pound blue cat and they lost another 40 plus pounder after a 20 minute fight.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Troy Roberson from Striper-Sniper Adventures) fished the Jordan Lake Striper Club's third tournament of 2005. They boated 3 fish, 2 keepers and 1 throw-back. They finished in 3rd place with 13.28 pounds. Steve is currently in 6th place for Angler of the Year with the JLSC and 9th place for Angler of the Year in the TSC.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Troy Roberson from Striper-Sniper Adventures) fished the Tarheel Striper Club's Lake Murray tournament. They pre-fished Friday and were able to release a dozen good sized fish, the largest of which was 9 pounds. The bite on TX day was a little slow. They boated 4 fish, two keepers and two dinks. They finished in 8th place, 5 pounds out of the money along with 6 other teams. It was a great weekend.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Max) took 2nd place and Big Fish at the Tarheel Striper Club's Jordan Lake Open Tournament. Steve moved up to 7th in the Angler of the Year points.

Team HOT SPOT (Steve and Max) receive Big Fish of the Year Award from the Tarheel Striper Club for a 13.2 pound striper caught at the Buggs Island Tournament on November 22nd.
